It was pretty hilarious given his reluctance to give penalties for offside generally. Wigan exploited his weakness to the max, not bothering to go back to the ref and setting off early as well. There were so many examples of horrendously blatant offsides, including one where a Wigan forward set off with his hand planted on the referee, one where the ref couldn't see the play the ball as there were Wigan players directly in front of him and one where he told a couple of Wigan players to get back because they were offside, only for them to charge through and make the tackle and he didn't give the penalty.
It's something we need to do as a club. If the referee isn't giving penalties for offside, be offside all the time and he'll continue to not give penalties.
