You've already gone to the video ref 4 times at least during the game, it's last few mins and Brough hits a drop goal that is clearly close to the post, it's gone higher than the sticks (which makes it harder to judge), your gut feeling is it's missed but Brough and hudds celebrate.

By going to the video ref, it gives them a better look at it and it also takes the pressure off you. It's simple IMO.

The best view was from the camera behind the posts as its dead centre. The drop goal should have been allowed but sometimes you get the calls and others you don't. The poor part was not going to the video ref, there was no excuse for that at such a crucial stage of the game.

I just can't believe he didn't go to the video ref. He used him all day and didn't on the most important call of the match.

I only saw the last 20 minutes so can't comment yet on the other video ref decisions. The sending off was correct, but I think it was a tackle that went wrong (no intent) as Ferres was trying to turn Lomax on his back. However it did finish up being dangerous and he should get a minimum three game ban.
