yeah but we're unlikely to have an "eastmond situation" when Alex has just signed a 4 yr deal, are we?

With all this press and the media singing his praises, like Eastmond who played not that many 1st teams games, believed his own hype and the effort went as his head was turned. Do you not recall fans getting on Eastmonds back? In conclusion to the question, I think Walmsley is a good player but has still got to improve to be classed as the best prop in SL for 2014. I for one hope Walmsley doesn't think he's the finished article as this guy has great potential. In all great signing and I hope we can keep hold of him. I know hes signed a 4 year deal however, it doesn't mean he can't leave.

For me, it's not potential anymore, he's brilliant now. He has got potential to still improve and become world class, but there's lots of handling work to be done yet for that

Joking aside Saint's are playing some brilliant rugby, hope it continues and you win something this season.

He did a few offloads last night which is something he needs to bring to his game if he wants to improve.

He's a big lad so draws in defenders, if he could bring a good offload game it could really put him up there in terms of best props.

You can see he has been working hard in the off season. His pace looks to improved and he seems more explosive and can hit the gaps better

100% effort from him last night, looked absolutely knackered when he went off at the end.

I would also have liked to have seen him stick one on Morley for that laughable attempt at a headbutt.
