Perhaps it is just me, but I don't consider Saints the massive favourites that everyone else seems to be.

Favourites yes. Clear favourites, yes. However, Hull are consistently the most inconsistent team in the league and I wouldn't put it past them to outplay Saints.

As for the team, there's no huge need to change it. The only option I would consider is dropping Percival to ensure sufficient defensive solidity. Lineham and Crooks could have a field day against Percival and Swift.

but Crookes can be just as shakey as Percy, I'd give him the start, if it looks like it'll cost us dear, we can always move jones in.

I did not see a lot of Hull last year, but at this time of year the battle is going to be in the forwards. Percival and Swift can be just as cutting edge. I really thought they settled down last week after a shakey opening couple of minutes.

Lineham was injured and didn't play in the CC final. Crooks was risked despite initially being ruled out for the season with an ankle injury. Yes he struggled but he clearly wasn't fit, and didn't play again in the last 4 games of the season.

Yes, but he's not playing, long term injury. In fact it wouldn't surprise me if he's already played his last game for Hull.

I honestly cant remember. I just recall one wing being torn to bits. I shall be listening in via the dulcite tones of ray French and Rooney. So I expect the pitch to be in perfect condition and some champagne rl to be on display.
