The result was ultimately of little importance in the greater scheme of things, but their consistently disgusting tactics (and the p-poor ref letting them get away with it) lend a pleasant piquency to the result that it otherwise would have lacked. Ha.

Yep , sad as I am I was looking at there attacking structures last night and it is very very simple stuff for the most part and relies heavily on them dominating up the middle, without Ratboy they are literally half the team.

That's very true. Their tactics are tailored for Sam Tomkins, so when he doesn't play they struggle and then have no other option.

O'Loughlin really masks how average their forwards are too when ours, who are so weak, ran over them all night.

Did you notice that meli and Turner (especially meli) was getting up in their line fast outwide to stop that set play they use all the time ?

If you can stop that play, you will go a long way to beating Wigan.

The half back gets the ball goes to his right, the dummy run from Farrell, pass to Tomkins round the back into the bit of a gap with the 'step' inside, create the overlap with the winger coming inside to take out Tomkins which then puts Charnley into a gap move. The move they usually do on the 3rd tackle (not that it's predictable), that move?
