When was the last time we lost five on the bounce? Any statos out there?

Have we ever lost 8 on the bounce? Serious possibility now.

I don't think it's been done before in Super League.

I wouldnt say embarrassed. Disheartened at situation of the club would be my choice.

I'm bemused I think, disheartened is a good way of putting it.

I've been going to Saints since I was 8 in 1984 and can't ever recall five defeats on the bounce. I'm sure someone out there will come up with the answer.

I can remember 3 on bounce a few times before, but nothing more.

This the worst team we've had in my 13 years. The thing is, our young players are coming on nicely, it's the senior players not performing.

For the first time ever I am embarrassed to be a Saints fan but it's the 'fans' comments that bother me the most. I think we need to accept it's not 2006 and we're not in the top few teams in Super League at the moment. People calling for Brown to be sacked is laughable there's not a lot he can do with what he has, we should give him his contract length before judging him. We need to get behind the team and put trust in Brown to recruit well for the coming seasons.

The team selections are Brown's fault tho. Picking Greenwood (who I have been impressed with) at centre was madness, Widnes ran at him and scored 3 tries there. Not his fault, he isn't a centre.

I think as fans we need to get behind the young lads. Imagine what they must think, we are not doing their confidence any good whatsoever.

All i hear is People constantly slagging off the likes of ashe, gaskell when he was here, lomax when at 7, wilkin and lance etc etc. how do we know that Walsh (should we sign him) is even gonna make a difference? He still won't have the runners to pass to.

Yes it's hard and frustrating but these young lads need confidence and a lot of that comes from us. At one point tonight there was uproar cos we ran it on the last rather than kick but we actually ended up scoring from that play (lucky or not).

This bad form is down to injuries, lack of cohesion created by injuries and lack of confidence.

We missed sia big time last night as well as the other injuries but I thought Thompson looked really good and aggressive. Him and Walmsley are gonna be solid forwards for us in the future.

This period will be good for our future as long as we get behind them and get the team through it.
