i think with a bit more coaching he has the potential to become an excellent player,he has got a little bit extra to his game,if saints don't fancy him he won't be short of clubs willing to take him on.

What he is on is not in dispute. It is what he has been offered that I am talking about. As I said I could have misheard and he has been offered a £12,000 rise as opposed to a £12,000 Salary. I didn't see my mate at the weekend as he is working away but I will see him ASAP to confirm.

Agreed and Matty Smith is a better than any other 7 we have at the moment. He would walk into our current team, the fact he isn't a patch on Sean Long is irrelevant.
