I don't think there will be many people watching tonight. The snow is coming down thick and fast, and that wind is strong and freezing cold. I'm tempted not to go myself even though I'm a season ticket holder. It will be perishing in the West Stand.

The pitch is perfectly fine as it was covered and it has been cleared to play on by the relevant match official person. I think Saints want to avoid a short turnaround for the Wigan match and I'm sure Salford feel similarly for their Good Friday game and so they are pressing ahead regardless. The snow isn't sticking at present but of course that could change. However, that wind is bloody freezing.

I would not be overly concerned as most of St. Helens is flat. But if you have any kind of incline to get home, if the snow is falling you may look far more daft having to abandon your car on the way home. It's falling quite fast now in Leeds, I will definately be giving this one a miss.
