Chalon Way multi-storey is definitely the best option. Follow the link road off the M62 towards St Helens Town Centre. Look out for the Park Inn hotel on your right. Get into the right lane at that point and turn right at the traffic lights. Go 'right' at the little roundabout towards the multi-storey car park that you won't be able to miss and park up for £1. It is then a maximum of 10 minutes' walk for an able-bodied person to the stadium, going right out of the car park, past the glass museum, under the railway bridge, over the canal, over the Saints Bridge and round Tesco. You will see the lights of the stadium beyond Tesco when you cross over the canal.
