| What an outstanding performance from the head-capped wonderboy. Why, for the love of Christ, has he not been playing there all his career? Absolutely incredible tonight in attack, his chiming into the line and more importantly the pace he did it at and the passes he chose when he got there was the difference between the sides. They were lacking in the halves tonight and Monaghan had a terrible game for them, constantly looking for cheap penalties rather than exploiting the quick play the balls they did get with more urgency.
Lomax in defense? Utterly outstanding tonight. Collecting kicks? Perfection, the catch, dart and roll to get out of the in goal was amazing. Wello, bless him, wouldn't have even got to the kick. The two match winning or rather match confirming tackles on Riley were wonder tackles, the kind Wello was making 8 years ago. I didn't think he had that in him. Take a bow sonshine, take a bow. Unless there is an injury and we need to move J-Lo, either to him or as cover in the halves, he should not be moved from there.
Wilkin got Sky's MOM and he did have a stormer, particularly in defense and with his kicking game. When we defend well he has the calm head to control things okay. The pack should put their feet up tonight, I'll personally go round and clean all their boots for them if they like. Sia, TP, Robes, LMS, Walker, Greenwood, Flanagan all superb, Manu disciplined which was important tonight.

| J-Lo is having a massive impact on our season. That tonight was a very, very hard game. Had Wellens been playing, we'd have struggled to score a lot more and would probably have been drawn into a dogfight. J-Lo's attacking threat was massive and where it wasn't him directly cutting them to pieces, it was them worrying about where he was that was allowing people to stroll over.
I'll bet there are a few Saints coaches watching him now who feel prize fools for not playing him fullback for years now. In hindsight it was a horrendous mistake. There is only Greg Eden who could be a better fullback in SL than J-Lo (Tomkins is Saracens bound).

Why? Eden has been outstanding this season so far. He's already an amazing player and could be as good as any fullback in the world.

I would say J Lo is the stand out full back in SL so far this season, and on current firm should be a shoe in at #1 for England. Tomkins has struggled with injuries this season, and his head appears to be elsewhere. I would say Lomax is developing into a better all round full back than him anyway, maybe not as unpredictable or dangerous in broken play, but certainly far better defensively amd under the high ball.
