I'd be very unhappy to see Lomax moved and Hohaia at 1 after the way Lomax has improved since shifting from scrum-half.

I'd like to, and think we will, see:

Lomax, Gardner, Turner, Percival, Meli, Hohaia, Wilkin, Laffranchi, Roby,Walmesley, Soliola, Manu, Flanagan.

Subs: LMS, Clough, Puletua, Jones.

I am quietly confident for Friday. We have a good record at the HJ stadium and I think this will continue. When I left LP last Friday I was very frustrated, but having sat through the game again, we weren't THAT bad. Our atttack on the whole was poor but we showed glimpses here and there which encourages me.I think Flanagan is very underrated and adds some solid defence and good yards through the middle. It also allows TP to add impact from the bench. Flanagan and Walmesley in place of Walker and Greenwood is an improvement on last week, and Hohaia for Wheeler is hardly a step down.

Also, Warrington are without Briers, Waterhouse, Harrison and Morley, with both Monaghans and Bridge all doubtful.

Saints to win by 8.

It's squeaky bum time and not because Purple Aki is knocking about.

Again, if you look at their build now to then they're not all that different. Being smaller doesn't necessarily mean not fully developed. I'd exclude Gaskell from that list though, he's picked up a few knocks.

If you look at Percival's build, he's got more to put on. I'd suggest he'll end up around 88-90Kg over the next couple of years. It's the same as lads who are around 16 shouldn't be lifting heavy in the gym, their muscles just aren't prepared for it (in general).

Anyway, this is mainly speculation from both sides so we may as well just leave it here as we'll never know. I'd expect Percival to be back in the next couple of weeks though.

I think Percival will feature against both Wakefield and Salford, then maybe drop out again for the Wigan game.
