I'd have liked to see either Wheeler and Gaskell or Wilkin and Gaskell play against Bradford. The only way Gaskell will gain more confidence is by playing alongside someone that can organise the team.

Given that brown has said wellens will get straight back in the team, I would assume Lomax goes to 6 and wheeler drops out, meaning Gaskell is a long way out of the reckoning. Gaskell certainly appears to be heading for the door. Makinson will be back, if only to cover for winger injuries.

Don,t think Gaskell and Makinson will be going anywhere, its just competion for places. Get the feeling that Brown will keep changing things until he gets the right combination in the backs, if players get dropped they must try harder at the next opportunity. If players don,t like it then maybe they don,t have the right temperement.

Wheeler and Gaskell may have made a good partnership, we may never know though now. Wilkin might keep his place at scrum half or Wheeler'll probably get injured.

Besides, Brown said Wellens would be playing, He never said where. I personally think he may keep Lomax at 1 and move Wellens to 13. Gives extra defense in the pack.
