I real out and out tough prop would be nice but I agree, the postion we need more than anything is stand off.

NB wants a job in oz end of, the fact is at he moment he isn't good enough so no NRL clubs want him.

NB likes to have clauses wrote into his contracts, all I will say is don't expect any loyalty

Hat you say is spot on, he hasn't shown enough yet to get an nrl job. The only way he will is if he brings success to saints, and that has to e winning something, not just getting to a final. No matter what coach does that, they will be in demand, that is something we have to live with. If brown brings trophys to saints and then goes to the nrl, good luck to him. I'd sooner have that than three years of mediocrity from the likes of potter who was never likely to be hunted by the nrl.

Exactly. Brown couldn't get a gig in the NRL six months ago and has since been sacked from Hudds.
If he wants a head coach role in the NRL, then, given he's at a big UK club with one of the better squads, he has to show he can actually get a club to win something.
Hudds were (no offence) low profile to carry excuses for not winning trophies - look where they were when he took over, don't have as good a playing roster etc. At Saints, there's no such excuse - you've got two jobs 1) Win trophies and 2) Beat Wigan.
