Some on here have acknowledged Clough's impressive contribution for years. The others come across as the sort who would rather have feka breaking one tackle per game than the stats you quote.

Hope the rumours of a new contract are true, very good squad player.

I've always rated him highly and, although he's never quite fulfilled his promise of 3 or 4 years ago (mainly due to injury I think), Clough is still an important forward in our setup and it's great news if he has re-signed. I reckon he'd make the starting 17 of any team in the league and would be near impossible to replace in the current climate.
