It was absolutely priceless. The Wigan fans can say what they like about getting screwed out of some decisions but after their smugness all season and Shaun Wane's obsessive comments about us in the week, it makes it all the better. Really enjoyed it!

It's actually a good question, for me personally it's because of their fans (and I include that idiotic Ape of a coach in that). They are for the most part the most arrogant conceited bunch of Rugby fans you could ever wish to run into. It's not possible for me to get bored seeing them lose

What hasn't been mentioned, unless it's buried deep in the woeful trolling, was Leeds kicking game. Last night like on many big occasions, it was fantastic, constantly finding space and turning the goons around. It's something that we miss big time. Gaskell is ok, wilkin has the odd good kicking game and roby chimes in with a few 40/20s. But other than that our kicking is sub standard.

Another point that seems to have been overlooked is McDermott. How can he coach such a clueless looking team for the majority of the season only to turn in performances when they matter? Is he a genius, lucky or what? He appears to have tge x factor

They have a group of players who know how to win, and although they seem to have lost some consistency they are still capable of turning in world class performances. They were a good team before McDermott so I wouldn't be giving him much if any credit

It's more likely the case that in these games they ignore coaches instructions to a degree and play using their experience.

Yes, the DW is very nice. Not yours though is it? The City of Manchester Stadium, Wembley, the Nou Camp, Giants' Stadium and Stadium:MK are all lovely stadiums too. You don't own any of them either. Langtree Park isn't as nice as any of those. But it is ours. We own precisely 1 stadium more than you do. Ha.

McDermott must have put yesterday's game plan together, I doubt kev Sinfield just decided to kick Wigan to death.

McDermott has took loads of stick over past two years but his tactics was spot on yesterday.

He gets it right in the big games more often than not.
