I saw him play a game for Bath wouldn`t pass the ball, went out wide to avoid any hard work, spat dummy out when crowd booed him, gave hidden gestures to the crowd then walked off without clapping the paying public, oh no that was when he played for us

You never know. It's a shame if his talent gets wasted, but he won't be the first and probably not the last. Sadly talent and the right attitude very often don't come in the same package.

He came on as a blood replacement, 2 or 3 weeks back and apparantly, had a really impressive ten minute 'cameo'. The main consensus from their fans was that they thought he had done enough to get more game time and were disappointed when he didn't.

Tomkins had a great debut and scored a brace in the LV Cup, I've seen him play 2 league matches one he started and the other from the bench and he was ineffective spilled the ball and generally didn't do much at all. I've seen Kyle play once he was stood out on the wing looking enthusiastic calling for the ball but a punch of 20+ stone men picked up the ball made a total of 2 inches and repeated until they knocked on. He later fumbles a high ball and that was his total involvement. I honestly think the grass is only greener for them in financial terms but both the recent converts look a million miles away from club rugby they can forget about Twickenham and the Lions for now.

I would take Eastmond at Wigan he was an exceptional talent and would be a great replacement for Tommy.

There will be an ex RL to RU player back in RL at Wigan next season.

I think people are being very unfair with Kyle. Would people rather he had taken our money and was then injured all the time. The amount of abuse injured players like Sia, Wheeler and Perry have got for spending time in the stands you would have thought a player that left to sit in someone elses stand would be thanked.

Put yourself in Kyles shoes, your a hot property but you are not sure if you are physically up to playing the sport, what to do? Stay at the club that has developed you, take money off them, play at half pace and avoid getting tackled. Or maybe you should take money off some people with more money than sense. You get paid more and get tackled less without having to hide.

After a year or two (and a game or two) your bank account is full, you can then either retire or come back north knowing that if you don't make it you are not going to end up doing a night shift at Asda.

I work with quite a few bath fans and often ask them how he is getting on. The response is either " who?" or "no idea". He is seen as a gobby chav from up north who doesn't fit tge cultured image of a club like bath, and has certainly not shown anything on the pitch to overcome that image. He also appears to be living the life of a premier league footballer, so I doubt the mega bucks he is currently earning are likely to set him up for life.
