For a drink before the match just go into the Founders bar found at the front of the stadium next to the club shop it's for away fans aswell and not expensive, with plenty of bar staff

the coaches park on Sullivans Way ( WA9 5GL ), as said not a long walk from the stadium, its probably closer than any of the town centre carparks. No boozers nearby though.

Lower your expectations a little and then you will not be too disappointed if the weather is bad, but today is nice so far, so you may be okay!

I fail to see why the coaches can't drop off round the back of the stadium. There are a few points litterally on the doorstep where they could stop, drop off and then go park elsewhere. It's not something I'd say if a team where bringing several coaches but for the odd one or two they could really stop quite close, depending on the time before the match.
