Quote: SaintsFan "First of all, I am a primary school teacher. I deal with children aged 11 and under. Secondly, I am not supposed to touch any children. That is against all safeguarding policy. Of course if a child is crying their little hearts out at school then I will give them a hug and screw safeguarding policy because they are in emotional pain and they are little. But by doing that I leave myself open to false accusations.
Scott Moore is not 11 years and under. He's a fully paid up adult. That is an entirely different beast.
I remember being somewhat berated on here when Potter was still in charge and I criticised Potter for openly putting Jamie Foster down in a post match interview. I stated that it was wrong to do that as nobody knew how it would affect Foster to be publically put down. As usual I was jumped on by many people on here. However, I was spot on. And I agree with you that people should always be treated as individuals. It is not the principle I am disagreeing with. I just don't agree that the proposed solution is the correct one in this case.'"
I don't recall potter putting foster down in a interview but if he did do it in public then that's wrong.
Like I said, a good coach knows who needs a kick up the backside and a player that needs a arm around him.
If thats what it takes to get Moore playing good rugby then so be it. If brown can tame him then I'd be happy to have Moore back at saints. (no way McManus wil tho)
