Yep, we had the odd blip under Anderson , sadly they were in GF's. At least they were against quality opposition, nothing like that shambles in Bradford

We had the ability to grunt out wins in those games that we lost, but grunting out wins was not very effective.

I went to the Huddersfield game and although it was close and so we could have won it, we offered very little attacking threat from any part of the field, we got lucky with the Lomax try had it been on TV it may not have been given.

But we went from awful in the hull game to quite average in the Bradford game - not really the improvement that should be praised IMO.

At Huddersfield we may have been unlucky, but IMO they were just as bad as us in that game so it's hardly (again) something to point out etc.

Big difference since Royce left? Summed up by Rushy:

Playing in the Saints way again, and about time.

I think rush is playing his part in the way we are playing since he and KC took over. I'm good friends with some saints lads and asked them what had changed.

Rush had changed the defensive pattern and gone with one that the players feel much more comfortable.

Also, he's give them a more free role and introduced more options for the halfbacks in the form of runners.
