| Quote: Saddened! "Depends how you look at it. We were terrible against Salford as well. We've got Hull next week then something like Wire, Leeds and Wigan in a row haven't we? It could look very bad quite quickly if there isn't a significant improvement.
We're just mighty lucky we've not played Warrington or Wigan in this form or they would have put a big score on us. All this talk of keeping calm and it all coming good again is flawed as we're not as good as we were last season. We could easily settle in the position we are this season, it's not like we can argue with being behind the teams we are behind at the moment, apart from possibly Salford.'"
Hull, Bradford (a), Leeds, Wolves (a), Wigan

Saddened on the whole you make me laugh. But really, not as good as last season? This time last season we were dire with a capital DIRE. Our ineptitude at all levels was incredible. We are so, so much better at this point in the 2012 season than we were at the same point in the season 2011 as to be two totally different teams.
We have things to fix and a big Jammer shaped hole for our lazy forwards to fill. But we are nowhere near as bad as we were this time last season.

I don't mean how we were at the start of the season I mean post Kyle episode. Losing Jammer is a gigantic problem not only in terms of his quality and workload that will not be replaced but most importantly his presence on the pitch. When things get tough this season don't expect a response from Saints.

We began to pick up our season - somewhat hesitantly but the change was there nontheless - after Leeds away. Jammer's loss is massive yes but that can be mitigated to some degree if all the forwards pick up their efforts. Whether they will or not is another matter. Jammer was a one off but that doesn't mean we will be useless. Nobody else had Jammer playing for them but they weren't useless. When a one off leaves the whole team has to work to fill the gap. Hopefully we will adjust to his loss and our performances will reflect that.

| It's not all doom and gloom yet for you guys, nowhere near. Very narrow defeats can happen to any team when luck isn't on their side. You'll come good yet, you'll pick up a win against Leeds/Wire/Wigan despite what form you're in. Sometimes the big games get you back on track as the atmosphere and hype make the players give that extra 20% they've been missing at the start.
Never write Saints off remember! Get behind your team!
