| Well firstly congratulations in playing your part in a truely epic game of rugby. Will no doubt be game of the season. For much of the game i thought you completely controlled it. Forwards bossed a big Catalan pack, short and tactical kicking was superb and your youngsters really shone. The only weakness for me was leadership as mentioned above. When Catalan got on a roll there was no calm head to organise, no one to lead the way and grind the game out. But to be honest I dont know who in your squad can step up to that mark. You dont have a Sculthorpe in your squad. As your young players develop a leader will be identified but I wouldnt over react, Saints are a very good side and the top 4 will be a very tough battle for 6 teams this year. I couldnt call who is favourites as I think all the top 6 are capable of taking points off each other and beating each other on any given day

2553.gif I've seen them bomb a quarter final, bottle a semi final, finish as league leaders, but I've still, never, seen the Wire win the league

| think having a leadership group wouldnt be a bad idea. wellens isnt exactly mr motivator in terms of his talking and from the bits i saw lomax seemed to be handing out a lot of the rollockings. get a group together wellens, puletua, lomax, soliola, roby, flannery and encourage them to all be leaders - perhaps even rotating the captaincy? worked well under maguire at wigan in season 1 and it really brought out the best in guys like coley, fielden, joel t and leuluai who had all been playing well but as individuals before then.

| The question is less to do with who should lead the team than whether there is an obvious candidate. Watching the team last night - aside from a couple of moments when Wilkin took control and thumped the ball downfield early in the six - I was struggling to find anyone who looked like he has the attributes to encourage others to follow his lead.

| I can't wait to go to your new stadium. The sound seems to come across really well on Sky atmosphere wise, and it looks great. You appear to be getting good attendances too, the stadium has looked pretty much full for your games so far. Out of interest, what have your attendances been so far?

15k and 13k so far.
Atmosphere wise, the sound carries far, far better than it ever did at Knowsley Road. You can actually hear other stands singing. It should be rocking when a team with bigger away support comes to town.
