He can pull off some good stuff but then he always spoils it by giving away stupid penalties at the time the team least needs them.

And then got himself suspended at the Giants for breach of club discipline.


He was our player, on loan to the Giants. We had no choice at that time. I think we released him early from his contract to sign up for Widnes.

Nah, the positives always outweighed the negatives when he was with us. He was developing into our best and most consistent forward (Bar Jammer and Robes obviously) last season, his defense is something we miss.

And how many post a picture of their broken jaw / injury the same day as they are suspended?

Not suspended for breaking his jaw...but possibly being in a 'situation' where it could be damaged?

The fact that Saints and the Giants did not want to retain a dream team / international indicates the problems the guy generates.

He is a good player and I've always recognised that but his ill-discipline on and off the field lets him down, which is why I said he was a liability. He deserved his recognition for Dream Team in 2009 and England call up against the French, because he was playing some good stuff but it's his off field shenanigans that can cause a team to be with out a talented player of Scott's calibre for an idefinate period of time, it will probably have a negative impact on the team in the long run, especially in tight games where he could quite possibly be needed.
