Quote: hotpot100 "According to the RLFANS.STATS page, the attendance against Salford in 2010 (last year at KR) was 7728, so we doubled that - but probably because it was the first League game.
The real test will be the Catalans game - in 2010, we got 8442 at KR, and that was played in July of that year. This year, with 10,000 season tickets sold, them not bringing a lot, being cold, not being on TV, and with a few walk ups, I would hope we get at least 12,000, which would be a very good increase in my opinion.
For the 2010 season, our average was 11,191 (for just SL games - not play off games). We had 2 x 17500 sellouts in successive games, and big crowds against Hull (in the fog, Sean Long's return) and Cas (last league game at KR).
For this season, I would expect sellouts against Wigan and Warrington, close to sellouts against Leeds (sunday game should mean they bring a few) and Widnes, and decent crowds against the 2 Hull teams who generally bring a good number of supporters. If we could average 14,000, I think that would be a brilliant achievement - almost a 25% increase from KR.'"
Funnily enough the Salford attendance was not too different at KR than it was at Widnes, there was a difference but not as stark as say the difference between Wigan at KR and Widnes.
