What's the consensus then? Spoons? Running Horses? Raven? Counting House? Swan? George? Alfred? Something further afield?

Where are people heading tonight?

Which is the new Black Bull?

Quote: Billinge_Lump "I must say that as much as an improvement on a warm can of Carlsberg the Saints Gold is, the Haka real ale in the Phoenix knocked it into a cocked hat for taste.'"

..The George Wright was top notch too.

Keep it quiet though, it was nice having decent ale at a reasonable price and not having to fight to get served.

Quote: Don Brennan "How was It In there?
Service ok,room to stand without being bumped all the time.
Might give It a go next time.'"

I thought it was very good. I got there for just before 6.00pm, so wasn't too busy then. Service was excellent - all staff wearing quite smart bar attire, fast delivery of drinks, and excellent prices (£2.80 for Saints gold). It obviously got busier nearer to kick off, but was never overcrowded. At one stage, we queued up and the whole queuing system was full (they have barriers up like at a Post office) - but it still only took 5 minutes to get served. In fact, the staff seemed to be operating quicker than the queue, and were frequently asking for people to move down the bar to get served. We left around 7.30pm to get a drink in the North stand bar.

The only negative (and it really wasn't that bad) was the "disco", which meant it was hard to chat without shouting.

We'll certainly be going back in there for the Cats game, and probably for all the remaining home games.
I've always thought of McGuire as a good player, and I wouldn't normally wish injury on any player, but there was a certain hint of poetic justice to that.
Another classic:
You forgot to take off the "Saints Reduction Factor" when calculating the ban. Standard suspension / Saints Reduction Factor = Actual ban for Saints player. Therefore (2 / 3) = 0.666 0.666 < 1 therefore actual ban equals "less than 1 match". Therefore ZERO.
Give the girl her dummy back.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_18821.jpg
