What a bad idea we spend all this time with nothing to watch at weekends and they go and put the games on a monday. As for the supporters short changed by sky again.

Well that's going to deter most away fans from travelling.

It's only ten games in the whole season. Chances are, this one is the only one for us.

I'm interested in seeing whether it generates extra interest in the sport, which I think is the reason for the switch. Along with the Stobart deal, there is the possibility that the RFL has woken up to the need to increase the profile of the sport.

Will there ever be a day when the RFL stops dicking things about for the sake of it?

Monday nights won't suit me either.

But if they did nothing then some would say that they are stagnating and not moving forward.

The RFL is any easy target for fans but most of the decisions that the RFL make are voted on by our respective clubs so perhaps we have to look closer to home and not just blame the RFL.

I believe the aim is for the Saturday games to transfer to monday once the footie season ends.

Hence matches in June will be shown on a Friday and Monday.

Presumably once August comes around and the footie season restarts then it will revert back to Friday and Saturday.

So basically sky are keeping bums off seats to keep sky sports viewing figures up on Monday nights as the football season is over.

Sky, mess everything up but we can't survive without them.
