| What a great bunch on fans you have on here, some of which have come onto our Southstander board and left some very nice messages. You are a credit to your club!!!!!
There was two great sides that contested this final, it was a great game, I said before, it may come down to a stoke of luck, who handles the pressure the best, a bit of individual brilliance, who plays the conditions the best etc and guess what we saw all of these come into play.
I think the scoreline was a little flattering for us, for 99% of the time it was a hard game evenly contested, we just ran away with it in the end but the score did not reflect how tight it was and at one stage when we was 8 points down and saints was putting endless amounts of pressure on, we was holding on by the skin of our teeth but not many teams can be 8 nil down Vs Saints, with backs againgst the wall in crap conditions and come back and score a few tries, simply, immense!
Also, if this was a transitional year for saints, it bodes very well for the future!
Good luck to James Graham, it was clear how much respect our players had for him at the end, he's been a warrior for you guys
Good luck next season!!
