With most of the plaudits going to Jammer/Lomax/Gaskell I thought I'd mention Cloughy and Sia.

Soliola for me was absolutely outstanding. Everywhere in defence and making his presence felt in the tackle as always.

Cloughy did what Cloughy does - great in defence and makes some really hard yards for his team. Brilliant to have him back as I think we are a far, far tougher team to beat with him in the fold.

Shenton also ran himself into the ground - very determined performance from him.

Finally, I hope that yesterday will shut up those "weak squad" muppets up for a couple of weeks, and save us the whining about our cataclysmic freefall. 7 out (including 5 rep players) - some weak squad that is.

Hopefully we're learning how to win the tight games again.

Sadly in Tom's case I don't think he could. I was trying to say if we had a back who could make an impact on the game I'd have no objection to having them on the bench , like Pryce or Eastmond

Exactly. Absolute pointless waste of time having him there rather than another forward.



But even then you are going to break up your halves or just shove a player on the wing. It's so disruptive.

Makes no sense to me. 4 forwards on the bench please Royce.

It seems we are 99.9% agreed on here that Royce should use 17 instead of having a player sat on bench for 80 mins while some are out on their feet.

No arguement there if thats the case.

I'm one of the few people who remain to be 100% convinced about cloughie. The words ordinary shout out at me when I watch him. I am perhaps being a tad unfair as he has not long been back.
