Quote: Rogues Gallery "That isn't the only reason though is it?
For instance in 2009 Saints only managed to get 6,157 to their first round play off game v Huddersfield at Knowsley Road. The truth is that people pay for their season tickets and then for whatever reason don't want to pay again for Challenge Cup / Play off games (particularly the early rounds)
Saints need to think long and hard about the pricing structure for non season ticket holders otherwise it could put a big dampener on what looks to be a superb venue.'"
While I appreciate your point has some merits, you comparing Saints v Huddersfield (no exactly great travellers) with Wigan v Warrington - is hardly the same, in the same seasons League Games Saints v Huddersfield in the league got 8078, play offs 24% lower, Wigan v Warrington got 15,500, play offs 56% lower, there is a drop in play off attendances but nowhere near 56%.
On the Season ticket prices I would expect each side to be £25 advance, £26/27 matchday. Compare that to Hull £24, Leeds £27-£30, Warrington £24, Wigan £20-22, based on 2011 season prices.
