Age shouldn't come into it, if that's being young or old. If the player is playing well then he should play.

It's ok saying we should be building fir the future but who knows what 2013 brings as it's years off.

IMO he should pick a team that he feels can beat the Aussies and kiwis no matter about age.

That's where the problem lies.

To be fair to the idiot in charge of our national team,it's pretty tough picking a team good enough to best the Aussies and kiwis when our team virtually picks it's self.
