| I want Warrington to win, without any hesitation whatsoever.
It's an interesting debate though, and I think in alot of cases it will depend on how long people have supported Saints. Anybody who had to endure the smug arrogance of the Wigan fans during the early 90's will find it hard to want them to win any game, regardless of opposition. This includes WCC games against Aussie opposition. Unless Saints were directly affected by the outcome, its hard to envisage any scenario in which I would want Wigan to win.
This is not an attempt to rile any Wigan fans, just me being honest.

| Is it possible for both sides to lose?
Either way it comes down to who I think we'd stand the best chance against if we get through and meet them in the next round.

| Is this a genuine question?
Wire to win both upcoming games without a moment's hesitation.
Yes their fans are extraordinarily irritating. But this is WIGAN we're talking about. Two years of Wire arrogance compared to a lifetime of being brought up to despise the old enemy and everything nthey stand for

That's more like it.
My mate Jimmy reckons if Saints were playing for his life he'd still want them to lose.

Quite right too. I'd be v surprised if any Saints fan aged 30+ could bring themselves to wish Wigan well

I started supporting Saints in '93 after Dux came home from the Premiership Final and was telling me all about it, then started showing me videas of matches etc, I started attending matches shortly after including Boxing Day '93 when we got trounced. That means that my first couple of seasons were under Eric Huhges, who never mananged a single victory over Wigan - so I had to wait until Superleague 1 and shaun McCrae to even get a victory over those os.

| I want Wigan to win. Most people I know are Warrington fans and they're unbearable enough as it is. Also, being in the same situation with both sets of fans (having just been smashed at Widnes and having to share a platform and train with them all), I just got insulted by every Wire fan that I came close to, the Wiganers just wanted to talk about the rugby and were all round classier in victory.

| It's a lot tougher of a question than it was 3 or 4 years ago. CC game, Warrington by plenty. If Wigan played Wire in the Grand Final however, it would be a hell of a lot closer. Really enjoy the fact that Wire think they're a big club, but until they win the big one, they can't be classed as such. I've been used to Wigan winning things since I started watching Saints (I'm 30 now) and as much as I hate them, I certainly respect them and the majority of their fans as well.
