As my coloured cousin states, I think it will be Wellens. Despite what some of our fans have been saying about him, there is nothing to suggest that he wont keep his place.

The only other alternative is Pryce, on the assumption that he re-signs, which is looking less likely at the minute.

I think this will be how it starts but depending on the form of all 3 (wellens, lomax, hohaia), plus the form of Gaskell and Wheeler and also depending on injuries, this could well change a few games into the season!!

Mate, a GREAT backline is Wellens (in his prime), Tuilagi, Newlove, Iro, Hoppe, Long & Martyn. Or Hunte, Newlove, Sullivan etc.

Some of the people you're praising would struggle to scrape the mud of the above's boots.

That is a great backline. Look at it compared to wello, makinson, shenton, meli, foster, Gaskell and lomax.

That's a pretty strong starting team, that does not even account for Wellens and Flannery.

On paper a more in depth squad than this year all though a question mark still over pryce, and a lack of Props below those starting 4 Perry, TP , Clough and LMS.

I know most think Pryce is off, but I'm still not certain yet.

I know some don't like playing young players but I think Lomax, Foster and Makinson have shown enough so far to warrent a 1st team start.
