No more than 5 overseas quota players
No more than 5 "overseas trained" players inc 5 OQs
Rest of squad to be from players trained within same Federation

Where

"home grown" = any player still under 21 and/or has completed 3 years service with same club before turning 21.

same federation = any player still under 21 and/or has completed 3 years service before turning 21 with other clubs within UK for UK SL clubs or France for Catalans etc.

overseas quota = as per current rules i.e. anyone unable to prove origins within EU or Kolpak countries.

and

"overseas trained" = any other player

Was thinking the same! Can we have a simple version for us simpletons, or better still, wait till the off season

I think it's a great question, but will need a bit of thinking about.
