I have to agree as a Saints fan living in Billinge. I have a lot of mates who don't know anything at all about rugby ( I.E. Wiganers) but we get on fine until derby day. Then for 80 mins we don't speak, or we take the mick out of each other, then it's forgotten until next time.

I played RU with a lot of the same lads from the age of 14 until I was 29. When I was a school boy, I was a solid player, but alot of the other lads would catch your eye first. By the time we were 23, I was getting picked for 1st grade seniors infront of guys who were way ahead of me at junior level.
