Granted as a Wigan fan I don't see Foster that much. But I'll ask the question. If you tuck Foster's superb goal kicking ability off him, is he any good? Personally I've never seen him bust a tackle or go on a jinking maisey run to evade defenders. It does appear to me that he's just a one trick pony. That may be a little harsh, but I've never seen the kid create something out of nothing.
Roby on the other hand. What can I say that hasn't already been said. Just a superb player.

pound for pound roby is easily the best player in the league and is one of the very few that does not go down easy, it always seems to take a least 3 to 4 players to take him down

Mcgilvray has been the standout winger in SL for me so far, so his stats don't surprise me one bit. The fact that Jermaine's stats hold up so well against Pat the best winger in SL, just goes to show what a good player Mcgilvray is. The same however can't be said for Foster when compared to either Pat or Jermaine, his stats are far less impressive. Well apart from the goal kicking one's, but you'd expect that from a goal kicking one trick pony. ![]()
If I had to pick between McGilvary & Foster I'd pick Foster. No bias at all. If you only rate a player on how many times he goes the full length of the field then you're about 12 years old or a bit simple.
