To be fair I don't think BBM is questioning the guys ability, just the length of contract. He will be 29 a few games in next year, I would have preferred it to be a 3 year deal, but it probably took the 4th year to get him.

Probably not, I personally would have no issue with a forward at that age, but a back I do. Not convinced that Hohaia is going to end up playing half back consistently like has been mooted, I think he will end up at FB with Wello in the pack.

We will end up paying HB salary for a FB and I would have liked it that we been on the hook for that for a shorter period.

I completely agree. I see him replacing pryce next year and teaming up with J-Lo, then the year after as wello probably retires (or moves into the backrow for a year), moving to fullback

look, in my opinion, giving hohaia a 4 year deal is a bad signing..the guy is a utility player, a jack of all....if your team wants to fill its roster with an average player then so be it..id be disapointed though....the guy cant command a regular spot at the warriors this year in an average outfit.......

Who is "and co"? Lyon was, and remains, a one off in terms of age and quality coming to SL.

We're still signing rep players like Soliola, Perry, Lance H, Shenton, LMS. I'd suggest our recent recruitment has been very strong.
