| Quote nikos="nikos"I didnt think he could go down any further in my estimation, but he surpassed himself today.
The whingeing little girl.
Im not going to comment on his accusation, due to it being very subjective, let the beak sort that one out
The ref had no decision but to put it on report as he had not seen anything.
He obviously had seen the tackle but thought it was fair, its not like it was an off the ball incident or behind his back.
This is not the kind of thing I want to see in RL. I want to keep RL a mans game and save playground antics like this and simulation for football.
Maybe a hefty penalty for the official compaliner is the accused is vindicated?'"
Wingeing Pie! talking about Wilkin Wingeing.
Obviously off next week on half term.
I thought Wilkin dealt with the chicken wing incident well and so did the referee.

Grow up man. there have been lots of occassions when players have been complained of being bit and other occurences, (Hopoate, Spelling?), or should I say smelling!!!

Pete doesn't like Wilkin so it comes as no surprise he's putting in his tuppence worth so readily here.
JW did nothing wrong or foolish in making an immediate complaint during the game. Whether the panel judges it a 'chicken wing tackle' or not John obviously felt the tackle technique was putting undue/unnecessary pressure on his arm so made the complaint. To compare it to footballers deliberately trying to get someone sent off is ridiculous.

Totally agree. Lima's tackling "technique" throughout the game looked "different".
Is there no chicken wing rule down under? Perhaps thats why there is a difference of opinion?

I'm entitled to have my say on the " chicken wing" tackle like everyone else on this forum.
I think he acted like a OTT footballer trying to get another player sent off which isn't the rugby way. I played rugby for 22yrs at a high level and for my local teams and have never seen of heard any player act in the way wilkin did.
You state I don't like wilkin, that's not true and you should keep untrue comments about what you THINK you know to yourself.

I fail to see where i say I don't like him.
I don't rate him but how does that mean I don't like him?
And what's it got to do with you?

| He thought he was the victim of an attempted chicken wing, being under 3 tacklers he didn't have the viewpoint of us. He didn't ask for the man to be sent off, he told the ref what he thought. Whether it was a chicken wing it not, Lima was going at his arm in that tackle.
