I am hoping some kind folk on here can give me some advice for Friday.
I am going to the game with a mate and 3 Aussies and rather than going back to Warrington after the game, they want to go to Liverpool for a night out.
Can anyone help me with suggestions on getting there from your neck of the woods?
Are taxi's easy to come by near the ground? (I have never noticed any in the past)
If not, would you need to book one and if so who would you recommend for 5 of us?
Do taxis pick up from near the ground after the game come to think of it?
Are there buses etc or is that too much hassle? I assume they are from Prescot Rd?
Trains look too much of a pain in the .

There is a bus (number 10) at 22.10 which will get you into Liverpool at just gone 11.

The only down side is the fare is £2.60 each, so the cheapest option will be a black cab (if you can pre-book one) which will probably cost less than that for five of you.

A taxi to Liverpool is more than £13. Nearer to £30.

Bus it is then, thank god I get lifts everywhere!!

It's nothing like £30. I'd say your best bet is ring a taxi and ask them to quote you a price. If [ithe price is right[/i book it for say 10 o'clock from the bird ith hand pub. Gives you plenty of time and if you get there early have a pint in the pub. Bish, bash, bosh!
