It would seem strange to let emmit go now of all times, when he's just started making a real contribution.

he probably isnt ready for full on first team action at Saints, and playing Under 20's or in the Championship wont do him any good - so its probably better for him to go elsewhere in SL for a bit.

Although only rumour, I heard a few days ago that someone close to the club said Emmitt wouldn't be offered a new long term contract and he was therefore able to talk to other clubs. I heard Cas mentioned....

He would be a great signing for us.
Him and Johnny Walker will be fantastic in a couple of years time! Shenny comes to you and we get Fozzard and Emmit. I can live with that.
