I played at all levels as a kid and signed for warrington on academy forms, that didn't work out as i broke my arm in my 1st game and when i returned from my broken arm i dislocated my thumb which i missed more games and warrington let me go.
I then signed for leigh academy and was playimg really well and widnes asked me to join them, after about a month i broke same arm, then i broke my ankle and dislocated my thumb more or less every week. widnes let me go as well due to injuries.
I've been playing Amateur rugby league ever since and never broke a bone again and never ever miss a game!
The point im making is injuries swings in roundabouts, that few years was my run of injuries. The is nothing to say wheeler and kyle are having there bad run of injuries now and will go next 5yrs injury free.
Wheeler is a worry tho imo, it's not like he breaks bones but always little niggly injuries which are the hardest to get over. When players don't get a good run thru niggly injuries its pretty common for something else to pull or strain.
One things for sure, they ain't soft as they are rugby players!
