Ditto for me. All those tries we gave away just before halftime and fulltime over the course of the season have made clinching second a step too far IMO. Not to mention the two stupid tries we gave away last week.

Hull somewhat disappointed me last night, I wasn't expecting them to win but they were poor especially considering Wire rested a couple and were clearly thinking of Wembley in the first half... they either put all the eggs into beating Leeds in two weeks to snatch 4th or they are really not particularly good.

The 12 points conceded last week look very expensive today and while Chair Maker has grossly exaggerated what we need to do to Celtic we do have to match or come close to last nights Wire scoreline to give ourselves a realistic chance going into the last week.

Not sure what to think of Harlequins its a bit of a dead rubber for them but in McDermotts last game in charge I can't see him wanting to go out with a wimper, either way we have to try and run up a cricket score against Cas which will hopefully make for a thrilling final game.

Spot on there with your post. If we beat Quins tomorrow we still have everything to play for to get second spot although it will take a monumental effort. We have put Cas to the sword before now - scoring 60 along the way but it is how many Wire post against Quins who seem to have hit a further bad patch. Let's hope they (Quins) want a Grand Finale in two weeks.

The Crusaders game is the decider for me. If we don't win by a cricket score (unlikely) then it's Dire for 2nd spot, unless they win the CC and then follow up with a hangover defeat against Quins.
