Hope LMS understands the admiration shown for him here on this forum, he has been told, at a club currently like Saints he will suffer the same way as Jon Wilkin has, he started in a strong pack and looked good, now?

I think Wilkins problem is that he was brought in as the new Paul Sculthorpe, but wasn't. Not his fault at all, but still the comparisons were made.

LMS has no such problems, he's coming in with the reputation of being a good prop, not a world beater.

I rated Jon very highly at first, also such a great ambassador off the pitch, But! I still think he suffered when the pack was not as strong, the loss of so many good solid players, also I do think Jon's head/approach changed, his game suffered and he still felt he was a world beater and the best.

I blame Anderson as much as anyone myself. He took him from being a ball handling loose forward to a workaholic second rower and then we've expected him to be a half back.

That is something clearly Jon is not! he does not have sufficient speed and we won't discuss his kicking abilities! come down to earth Wilkie next season please! Hope the new guy can sort him out.
