I say, if he's as adept at 7 as his other positions, get Gaskell in. Let him have a run before the play offs and see if he can hack it.

Well whatever they decide to do they need to be looking for a long term replacement not a quick fix for example Moore.

With KC missing also we can't use Robes in the halves and Moore at Hooker for the entire match because Moore seems knackered alot and begins to make mistakes.

Ellis is the ideal replacement but he's injured aswell so its Gaskell... Wonder is Gids can play 6 aswell as Lyon did

The way I look at it is we've turned over may sides including Wigan while Kyle has been out injured and also a dozen or so other players...

If we can go into the back end of the season only missing Soliola and Kyle we're in alot of a better state than we are now.

We've just had no luck this season. If you read what Potter says he doesn't sound too optimistic on Eastmond and even if he's back in 4-6 weeks, he will have barely played for 8 -10 weeks. Then he mentions that Cunningham won't play for 4 weeks, Dixon is having a scan on his groin and Hargreaves (whilst playing through the pain barrier) won't be able to do weights training for 3 - 4 weeks.

The only good bit of fortune is possibly having 4 first teamers back in Puletua, Wheeler, Meli and Wilkin, but we've had a really rotten season with injuries.

The cup semi is 4 weeks on Saturday, could be KC's aim.

We weren't good enough to win anything anyway. This just gives us an excuse when we fail miserably.

If Pryce is back next week then so far as the halves are concerned, we should be fine. Moore was doing a commendable job as a support player to Pryce. However, if Pryce is missing on Friday then I think we're screwed, as no-one else seems to be able to make a playmaking kind of decision. Maybe we could move Lomax to the halves and have Foster out on the wing if Meli isn't back? If Wheeler is back that would be good as it would mean Flannery could rejoin the pack. I do hope Jon Wilkin is back in contention as he would be very, very valuable. As would Tony P.

I can't see a time when we will have anything close to a full team this season but if we are able to get Pryce, Meli and Tony P back for Friday then we do stand a chance, assuming everyone plays with the right attitude. But Potter doesn't sound like a man who is certain of things.
