39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

Orford. Please disagree though, it will be funny.

| Quote: Rogues Gallery "At the last shareholders meeting it was stated that Wigan along with nine? (I can't remember whether it was ten or twelve in total) other clubs were being investigated by HMRC but had made no provision in their accounts as they did not believe there was a problem. Nothing more has been said on the issue and I wouldn't expect there to be unless a payment was due. We will probably get an update at the next shareholders meeting, as someone is bound to ask the question.
I seem to recall a number of Wigan fans gloating over this matter after Maurice said that Whelan would never, ever, use such nefarious means to 'cheat' the salary cap.
And now you are under investigation for it?
Oh dear, it looks like a few of you bought Uncle Mo's misinformation hook, line and sinker

Brilliant isn't it - one of the more trumpeted reasons from over the hill for our illegitimate successes as I recall.

1883.jpg Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

Very true. This is in direct opposition to the Saints players who come for a modest salary and the sweet scented air of St Helens.
