Quote: Mugwump "1. Kicking doesn't just aggravate injury - it can cause it. To claim otherwise is senseless.
2. RL is a tough sport. Around this point in the season it's likely that most players are carrying some kind of knock.
3. To say Eastmond is integral to our title challenge is an understatement. Without him we stand very little chance of winning SL.
Taking the above into consideration I think it's not just prudent but absolutely ESSENTIAL that we try to minimise the load on Eastmond's young shoulders - physical and psychological - when an EQUAL alternative (in all parts of the game - not just kicking) presents itself. And Foster isn't just an equal alternative - he's BETTER. Props to Potter for realising this and giving the kid his chance. We are certainly the richer for it.'"
1. Nobody did make such a claim
2 + 3 and the rest, all excellent points (although a complete change to the original one, and I assume that is because it was completely unsubstantiated), and I certainly agree that if we can lighten load on him psychologically or even give him a rest from time to time then we will reap the benefits come play-off time.
I would be rotating the squad constantly if possible. People are having a go at Nathan Brown for it at the moment, but one of Huddersfield's biggest problems last year was burnout.
