The Wire squad is indeed excellent. They may well beat us but if they do, it does not make our squad average. Nor would it mean our squad is better that Warrington's if we beat them.
It's not as easy as that. Unless you think us hammering Bradford away and Wigan losing to them at home makes us vastly superior to Wigan?
I seem to remember you knee jerking about home much better Hull are than Saints after one injury hit performance in bad conditions, but we're now above them in the table and they have lost to Crusaders. Warrington have played 2 games against the big boys - they've won one and lost one. If they lose to us, they've lost 2 from 3 against the challengers.
Perhaps we should wait until at least half way through the season before the likes of Wellens/Gidley/Meli/Pryce/Eastmong/Graham/Cunningham/Puletua/Wilkin/Roby/Moore/Maurie/Flannery etc are written off as nothing more than average.
