You get that with a ps3. (i'm not sure you will agree with the value for money part but i think it is)

Whatever. With a Wii you get half an hour of fun once a quarter and about 5 passable games in it's catalogue and an avalanche of cheaply produced gimmicky guff.

RL3 looks terrible as the first two were. Fun initially because it's RL, but after a days playing you will learn the exploits meaning it's ridiculously easy because it's so cheaply produced.

Value for money with the PS3 doesn't seem right yet, it's a VERY overpriced console.

The simple fact of a massive potential user base on the Wii compared to other systems (with the exception of PC) means the Wii was the most logical choice.

Granted, there's a lot of shovelware on the Wii, but look beyond that and there's many Wii exclusives you just won't see on PS3, and they really are the top notch games.

Trust me, this idea that the Wii is crap is utter tosh, there are a lot more high quality games out for the Wii than the other consoles just the same as there's a lot more low quality games out for it too.

No, I don't know it for a fact and I certainly hope it's not the case. But given the resources the developers have at their disposal and their limited back catalogue it's not hard to see it being basically the same kind of quality. I'm sure it'll be better than the other two games, but the videos and screen shots I've seen look like it's using exactly the same engine. The tackle animations are identical and the way the players are joined together with invisible strings is still noticable.

There isn't a PS2 version of Rugby League 3.

Stands to reason they would have a picture of someone in a redvee on the uk version as its the most recognisable kit. Randoms wouldnt have a clue if it was a leeds kit or wigan kit.

As for the game, i actually found rugby league 2 on the PS2 a complete hoot.
