Well, that's what Saints fans are like. It's nothing new. We booed in the 1980s, which is probably the last time we saw the kind of rubbish from Saints that we watched tonight. It's like having a conversation: we disapprove of something, we boo; we approve of something, we cheer. That's just the way we are. I think that's fair enough. Why should a lot of well paid players have only the cheers? If they play total then they deserve boos. We were standing there, freezing our bits off, struggling to see anything at all (and in some ways thank God we couldn't see much!), so why should they be supported when they couldn't even string a catch and pass together successfully?
Longy was great. It's always a joy to watch him play well.
