It does appear Potter isnt getting the best out of any of our players.
Is it a 2 or 3 year deal Potter has?

Cunningham should be running at the defence more.
Roby should be starting games maybe at LF.
Wilkin should be given more responsibility.
Pryce needs to be dropped to give him a kick up the . or moved to a position he would be more effective

Nobles contract wasn't renewed. Wigan have signed Deacon to help Sam learn his trade.
Saints have let Long, Gilmour and Cayless go and replaced them with Fozzard and Soliola(sp)

Gilmour with all his faults was the fastest forward at Saints, Fozzard was finished two seasons ago.

Mick Potter is the problem. He has made us so one Dimensional and predictable it is unreal. If your brave enough watch the game back on Sky. Hull's markers only need to step out once, safe in the knowledge that our forwards will take a drop off, off the hooker and go straight back into them. Hull's A defenders can come up straight next to the play the ball in a straight line without having to move because they know we will play one out.

Potter commented in mid week that Roby or Moore could cover stand off if needed. So when Gardner was injured, why not move Pryce (A guy who has played internationally on the Wing!) to cover, and play Moore or Roby at stand off. Last year I told people on here that Potter wanted all the players to gain weight and was laughed at. Now I see people commenting that they look unfit and have little bellies, Now do you believe me? The guy wants us to turn into Catalans, and that is never going to happen!

I thought it was commonly accepted that Leon does not like to play on the wing from his time at Bradford.

If this is all down to Pryce refusing to give up his standoff position, then he needs to be dropped. I just cant see another explanation for this. Pryce's form has been aweful, he got run over a few time last night and offered nothing in attack, eastmond cant do it on his own. I'd seriously drop Pryce and put wheeler at 6, Lomax on the wing and see how it goes, it cant get much worse than that shambles.

I'm afraid that Wigan lok the very opposite of Saints, fitter, leaner and well drilled with creative flair, it could be a long season

The only issue for Saints is that you are now a team in transition !!
your club made a bad statememnt to the fans when they brought back Fozz, as good a player as he is , he most definately is not a statement for the future is he!!
when the grounds firm up you will again show your class as you are no doubt a champion team but booing them will not make them play any better !!
Think what FC have been through this last two years !! too may old players, issues inside the squad, etc etc but the fans never gave up on them
Learn the lesson , back them dont slaughter them
