Successful coaching is not just about knowing the game, which Longy does, but being able to communicate what he knows to players (which he'll struggle with, I think). It's where a lot of talented former players fall down (in a number of different sports).

Fair point but he came off the back of a hugely successful season with Catalans, at least he came with some kind of reputation.

Surely some thing that Sean is certainly not, so we'll sing for him and leave Potter for Saints. I just hope that the Saints fans give him a cheer tonight even though he's crossed over the Pennines. He'll get a great reception before the game and then that's it. He isn't one of us anymore sadly but all good things come to an end sooner or later.
