| Unbelievable.
Some of you armchair economists really get my goat. You are the very same individuals who are ultra critical of the clubs financial state.
Saints is as much of a business as it is a team.
Yes, it's a nothing match and inconsequential
Yes, we're playing kids / reserves
Yes, you could spend your time and money on other things
But you know what, even if only 4k turn up, pay to get in, maybe buy a pint then the club will make enough to fund the salary of one of our younger players for next year. If that's too complex for you to understand all questions on a postcard. Get off your , pay your money and support the club you all so openly criticise in their attempt to remain competitive on the pitch.
Maybe open your one eye to see why most clubs do these types of things

| Quote: Div "Yes a business with an extremely poor seasonal (out of season in fact) product that will fail to sell in significant numbers.
Thanks for attempted lesson but I think we all understand pefectly it is about off season cashflow.
Hey,why dont they ask us all to send them a cheque for a tenner to help pay the bills instead of trying to promote a total sham of a fixture.
Seriously, out of the many, many week in week out home and away supporters I have only spoken to one who was going.
The minute they voted to switch to summer Boxing Day was no more. Live with it.
I would far rather venture into the loft to get the 27/12/87 video or the 41-6 recording and spend valuable time viewing that.'"
Miserable git!

| Heading up to Bispham bowling club soon to watch Wigan v Manly followed by Wigan v Saints reserves Grand Final, with a few beers thrown in for good measure.
First time the bus pass has been used in anger.
